A stunning painting on board of a landscape scene which includes a large body of water and mountains. Yachts can be seen sailing on what appears to be a large lake in the centerground whilst in the foreground there is what looks to be a farmer with a horse and cart walking up the steep path alongside grazing sheep in the field adjacent.

Signed to the bottom right and to the reverse of the painting 'S Slack'. (Sue Slack)

Sue Slack lives and works near Pickering in North Yorkshire. The inspiration for her paintings is literally on her doorstep as her studio overlooks the 'Hole of Horcum'. She attended art school in 1997 having previously travelled to South East Asia after a spell of teaching in the UK, Spain & Thailand. In 2004, Sue became a full-time artist and paints the surrounding moorland as well as the Yorkshire Wolds. Her paintings are available online as limited edition prints however this is one of her original paintings.

The painting measures approx 40.5 x 30.5cm (Approx 36" x 23.5") excluding the frame.

The painting is in good condition. The frame it comes in has a few little knocks and scratches but nothing of major concern and this lovely piece of art deserves a nicer frame anyway.
