A nice pair of sterling silver serving spoons in the fiddle pattern dating from the early Victorian era.
The hallmarks are very clear with the silversmith mark being D.P. which we believe could be for Daniel Popkins. The essay mark is for London and the date mark is for the date 1838 which of course falls within the early reign of Queen Victoria.
The spoons each measure approx 22.5cm long and weigh approx 64g each.
In very good condition with only minor wear and tarnishing. The spoons are monogrammed to the handles.
