Terms & Conditions
In the case that when you have received your item, you feel that you are not happy with your purchase, we kindly ask for you to contact us so that we can resolve any issues amicably. Please feel free to contact us through the contact link provided regarding the matter. We feel communicating via email or our contact form is a lot more efficient and is less likely to cause confusion due to all email messages being recorded. However if you should feel happier contacting us via telephone we will be more than happy to take your call to help resolve any issues that you may have.
Payment can be made via our Paypal express checkout option where the use of a credit or debit card is also accepted. Cheques and postal orders are also accepted within the UK. Sorry, we do not accept bank transfers.
If you are unhappy with your purchase please return the item to us via the cheapest recorded method only, in its original condition as listed, to the address provided within 30 days of receiving the item and a full refund will be issued once we are satisfied that the criteria has been met. Please note: We (the seller/retailer) are not liable for the return postage costs and fully abide by the 'Consumer contracts regulations 2014'.
In the case of non receipt of or damage to your item, we are happy to investigate the matter thoroughly and we may ask you to allow up to a reasonable amount of time for delivery as a certain period is required before being able to make a claim with most couriers including Royal Mail.
In the case of you (the buyer) receiving a damaged item, a return may be accepted and/or a refund may be issued in the appropriate circumstances after receiving the returned item or photographic evidence of the damaged item.
In the proven case of the item being ‘not as described’ or damaged from shipping, we will be happy to refund you (the buyer) for the return postage cost but only for the cheapest tracked/signed for return shipping method available on the market at the time.
If a failed attempt is made to deliver the parcel and you fail to collect the parcel from your local sorting office, it will be sent back to us, we will then require additional payment for the re-dispatch of the parcel. If you should require a refund after the parcel has been returned, we can do that for you, however the original P&P paid for the item will not be refunded.
If you should have any enquiries about an item or if you should have any problems with your purchase please feel free to contact us through the eBay messaging system regarding the matter. We prefer communication via email or our contact form we provide as we feel it is a lot more efficient and less likely to cause confusion due to all of the correspondence being recorded.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
We post 5 days a week Mon-fri excluding bank holidays. In the incidents where bad weather occurs or postal service industrial strikes are taking place, dispatch and/or delivery maybe delayed.
We aim to dispatch within 1 working day (usually the same day if purchased before 12pm) however due to unforeseen circumstances and only on some rare occasions this may not be the case. We do however strive to get your item to you ASAP.
Please understand that we have no control over delivery times, only dispatch times. We always aim to dispatch our items within 1 working day after receiving cleared payment (usually the same day if purchased before 12pm).
The Cut off time for UK next day delivery is 12pm GMT, items must be purchased and paid for by this time to receive your item the next day. Please understand that our next day delivery services are not guaranteed.
We can only post via a recorded method of shipping due to witnessing a high number of parcels going missing from using non-recorded methods.
All of our items are wrapped to an appropriate standard to save them from damage in the post whilst at the same time maintaining a low weight and size for lower shipping costs.
If more than one item is purchased from us we will be happy to combine P&P costs where applicable and possible.
We do understand that postage service fees are expensive, though please be assured that we shop around to give our customers the cheapest prices possible for paid delivery services. When we raise the price of shipping on our website, we guarantee to our customers that the reason for this is because of actual courier price rises, and not because we have decided to make a little more money for the company. As of the 2nd April 2013 we have been testing the services provided by other couriers including MyHermes as we feel that the cost per service is far superior to that of Royal Mails new tariffs which in return means we will be passing the savings on to our customers.
For every item listed we try very hard to provide accurate P&P costs for paid shipping services. It is very difficult in some cases to predict the postage charge for an item, though to gain the most accurate price we do weigh every item without packaging when listing and authoring a P&P price.
We have found that newspaper (printed or non-printed on) in addition to bubble wrap is excellent in the prevention of damage to items hence the reason why this duo is used frequently in our wrapping techniques. Also, if a used box is used again, or if we feel the item needs extra protection against the elements, black shrink wrap is used to protect the item more efficiently whilst in transit.
Please allow up to 15 days for inland delivery and 30 days for international delivery before contacting us regarding not receiving your items, sometimes items are delayed for reasons unknown to us.
Posting via Royal mails international signed for service is very efficient, more secure and parcels are delivered more quickly than the standard airmail service available, which are the reasons why we only use this service for items under 2kg that are within the dimension limitations and that are available to overseas buyers. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
For parcels over 2kg, a courier can be used however due to the complexity of how a quote is calculated by a courier, we kindly ask for you to contact us for a shipping quote for the item/s you wish to purchase.
